Nowadays, with the increasing demand of monitoring, new problems surfaced quietly. How can we make PC-style, industrial-type and embedded DVRs in the present market operate normally 24 hours. In the past, for PC-style and industrial-type ones, the solution is to install a software watchdog which has obvious defects, namely, if the monitoring host itself is not powered, the software watchdog is useless. The new super watchdog can work whether the host power is cut or not, thus achieving real-time monitoring of the host.
